Kara, noticing AJ's reaction, quickly butted in, "Oh nothin'. AJ here was at the club last night and he accidentally dropped something in the toilet and it overflowed," She lied. Alex looked nervously from Kara to Gina to see if she bought it.

    Shrugging, "Leave it to Alex or Nick to ruin a bathroom." She said. Alex mouthed 'thank you' to Kara and headed toward Kevin. Who was showing Howie, Brian and Leighann pictures off of his mini digital camera while Jocelynn tried desperately to take it away from him. Alex stood behind the group for a moment and just looked at her, she was wearing a black tank top and a pair of low-rise blue jeans that had, a little devil on the back left pocket with a pair of black heeled boots. She had half her hair in a clip while the rest fell down her mid back, she looked good, and he hated her for that.

     He walked up to them ignoring her, "Hey Kev, what are the pics from?" He asked.

     Kevin lifted the camera up to him and moved his body to block Joce from nabbing it, "They're of Joce's signing earlier."

     "Give it, Richardson," Joce yelled, as she nabbed for the camera but instead she fell against Kevin and lost he lost his balance causing the two to fall to the ground.

     Alex found himself reaching down to help her up. Some of her hair had fallen from her clip and was hanging in from of her face, she laughed as she took his hand, not realizing it was him helping her up. As she half way got up Alex's other arm wrapped around her waist to help stabilize her. When she was fully standing she opened her eyes and moved her hair out of her face. Alex found himself staring into her deep green eyes for a moment then he shock his head, reminding himself that she was his enemy. He let go of her abruptly, slightly shoving her away from him and he stormed into the house.

     Joce stood there for a moment looking at the house, where Alex just walked into, she turned and held out her hand to Kevin to help him up but he was already coming up on his own. Joce looked into Kev's eyes and saw his concern, she nodded. "I will be right back." and she walked into the house.

     She walked into the house and stood in the middle of the hallway trying to listen for Alex. She heard his footsteps walk up the staircase near the front of the house. As she made her way up the stairs she saw him leaning against the wall in the hallway.

     "Alex, what the hell was that about?" She demanded.

     He just looked up at her with an annoying _expression on his face, "What the fuck do YOU want?"

     She put her hands on her hips and gritted her teeth, "Don't fuckin' give me that attitude McLean. What the hell is up your ass. You nearly shoved me on the fucking ground after helping me up."

     "Remind me to try harder next time." He said curtly.

     "Alex-"

     "No stop right there, damnit." He butted in, standing up to look at her face to face. "Don't you dare come up her to question me. YOUR the one who fuckin' walked out on ME, damnit! I should be the one fuckin' cornering your ass! Not the other way around!" He yelled at her as he poked her in the shoulder.

     Joce slapped his hand away, "Don't fuckin' poke me. I told you why we wouldn't work out!"

     "And it was a LIE! Because here you are, out last night partying it up with your girls like some hoochie. You said we wouldn't work because I would be on the road touring and yet TODAY you signed your own record deal!"

     "THAT I WAS OFFERED AFTER I LEFT YOU ROOM!"

     "THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU COME BACK?!" Alex shouted in a broken voice. "WHY?! We fuckin' made love and you left while I was asleep! Not a word, not a note, NOTHING! WHY?!"
 
     Jocelynn stood there for a moment gazing into his eyes, was fighting with every inch of her being to keep herself angry to not give into the sadness that grew inside her. She swallowed the lump that was forming in her throat, "Because I thought it would hurt less."

     Alex shook his head, he couldn't believe what she just said, "What the hell do you mean it would hurt less? Joce, I begged you to fucking give me a chance! Got that?! I told you I loved you and you fuckin' left me. And I am suppose to fuckin' pretend that nothin' happened whenever we are around?"

     "So instead you act like a dick?! Then explain to me last night?!" She demanded, "Would you mind telling me how I ended up on the counter with you pounding the shit out of me? Huh?"

     Alex found himself hitting his breaking point and his snapped. He grabbed her by the waist with one hand and by the back of her neck with his other. He yanked her to him and crushed his lips against her harshly. He was angry at her, upset because he was on the verge of tears, and he wanted her more then life itself. She was everything he wanted, and everything he hated.

     Jocelynn's body tensed up, she refused to let herself fall into him again. She put her hands on his chest and shoved him as hard as she could, throwing him against the other wall. She looked at him in shook, and in fear, then she ran. Ran down the stairs and out the house, she spotted Kevin, Kara and Taz talking by the grill.

     Grabbing Kara and Taz each by the arm she yanked them away and pulled them toward the front of the house, "We are leaving right the fuck now." She stated. Her heart was racing, and she felt like she was going to puke that she was going to cry.

     Kevin followed them to Kara's car and hopped in the backseat after Joce. Without even saying a word he pulled Jocelynn into his arms just as she bursted into tears. Jocelynn held onto Kevin for dear life as Kara hopped into the driver seat and Taz into the passenger. Kara looked at Kevin, who just mouthed for her to drive as he hushed Jocelynn and ran his hands through her hair, rocking her back and forth to comfort her.

     The car pulled from the driveway and headed around the town, no one said anything. Kara kept peaking in the rear view mirror at Jocelynn who was still leaning against Kevin's chest, she stopped crying after 10 minutes of driving around and now was just sniffling. Kevin was still stroking her hair and hushing her telling her everything was ok. Kara saw a liquor store and pulled into the parking lot. She hopped out, " I am going to grab some beer, Joce you want any tequila?"

     Joce just nodded, Kara hurried into the store and quickly pulled out her cell and called China.

     "Yo, this is China."

     "Chi, It's Kara. Look, we left about 10 ago. Joce came running outside and nabbed us to leave right away. She bursted into tears, luckily Kevin came followed us and ended up getting in the car to comfort her."

     "Oh my god, is she okay?"

     "Yeah, Kev's got her quieted down. I think she's fine now. What should we do?"

     "Well take her back to your place for a lil while. I think I know who is to blame for her break down. I will deal with that. But wait an hour then go to the club, we are still ahead of schedule. Just make sure you are at the club at 5pm. okay?"

     "No problem. Lata." Kara said as she hung up the phone. She grabbed a case of Corona's and a bottle of Jose Cuervo for Joce. Then headed back to the car. As she climbed in Jocelynn asked, "Hey tonight can we go out? I really need to get wasted."

     "Joce..." Kevin started to scowled.

     "It's my birthday Kev, I don't have my son with me. And I deserve it!" She said sternly as she laid her head on his lap.

     Tax laughed, "Kev, fair warning. Arguin' with Joce is not worth it. She always wins."

     "Yea, and if I want to I don't even have to argue," Joce teased sticking her tongue out at Taz.

     Kara rolled her eyes, "Fine, lets just go back my place and we can change."

     "I dunno if your clothes will look good on me," Kevin joked.

     "Kev, we've seen you wear a skirt before." Taz reminded him, then the girls started laughing. Kev just made a face that told them where to go, just leaned back and stroked Jocelynn's hair.
