It was a sunny April day
Just a little past noon
When the
doctor handed to me
A 9lb 6oz baby boy who was fallen fast asleep
He had light blond hair and a cute round nose
Just
as perfect as he could be
I felt the weight of the world on my shoulders
A new mother only 18
But I just looked
at his face and I knew
It would be alright
He's my reason for smiling
He's my reason for living
I finally
found all my answers to my life
I thank God for the blessing
And I thank Him for the pleasure
For giving me my
most precious and favorite gift
My love, my angel, my sweet boy
2 years later I'm sittin' on the porch
Watchin'
him playin in the snow
He has his father's smile
And his grandma's steel blue eyes
He runs up to me and says 'mama
i luv you'
I felt like cryin' but instead I just laughed and smiled
I told him "Baby, I love you too."
