"Nick, I am pregnant with 2 babies." Her voice broke.

     The whole room had an erie silence to it, no one moved, or blinked. Nick's stopped crying also, and looked up at Lari, trying to make eye contact. But she just closed her eyes, with her head still tilted toward the ceiling, her wavy brown hair fell to her mid-back.  ' Babies? Twins? ' He thought as he once again held her tight, this time though she swayed a lil bit.

     "Nick, um maybe you should let her go, so she can sit down." Trish suggested as she slowly pulled him away and helped Lari sit on the couch next to Leighann, and placed a pillow behind her back. "You okay there?"

     Lari nodded, and Leigh took her hand hugging her, Leigh said, "Oh sweety. I wish I could have been there for you."

     "Leigh, I am sorry that I blew you off, all of you guys, I am. It's just that after everything that happened, I needed to get away. I missed you. " Lari said as she hugged her friend tightly, "I just didn't know what to do, all I knew was that I couldn't handle it all if the media made a huge deal about it. "

     Kevin piped in from across the room, "Lari, you know that we would have helped you through this, right?" She just nodded. "I mean we told you, all 3 of you, that your are members of the Backstreet family."

     Nick sat on the floor in front of her with his legs crossed, "Lari, you have to believe me when I say that I am sorry. I was drunk a sin, I swear, I had no feelings for her, I don't even remember anything that night. All I know is that the next day Arie was there and you were gone. I never meant for it to happen, you have got to believe me."

     "There were things that I believed that you have proven false. And I am sorry for not telling you about the babies, but I honestly thought that I was doing the right thing. But still, I would like for you to be in thier lives."

     Kevin and Brian stood up from the chairs on the other side of the room and gave her a hug. Alex smiled from where he was standing holding Kara in his arms. "So how far along are you?"

     "31 weeks, but my doctor says it is unlikely that I carry them to full term. More then likely to 36-38 weeks." Lari said smiling.

     Nick got up, "Can I --"

     "Touch them? Yeah, Nick." She said taking his hands and holding them down on her stomach where the babies were rolling around.

     Bewildered in awe he looked at her stomach, "I doesn't hurt with me pushing down like this?"

    "No, they move around so much that the pressure doesn't faze me anymore."

     Leigh smiled, "So do you know the genders?"

     "God no, I wanted it to be a suprise. But um, can somebody help me up?" she asked, Kev and Bri helped her from behind and Nick held her from the front. She looked up at his blue eyes, and felt as if everything that had transpired between them had faded away. "Um, please excuse me, but I have to use the bathroom, one of the frequent perks of pregnancy."

     "Here, I will help you."Leigh offered as she helped Lari walk out of the living room and down the hall.

     Trish clapped her hands together."Well that went better then expected." Everyone nodded, "So Nick you ready to be a dad?"

     "Ready, no. Terrified and eager, very much so." Nick admitted. "But I would like to have a private discussion with her. There are things we need to talk about, things that I need to appologize for."

     Pulling out of AJ's embrace, Kara took charge, "Well before you start all the questions and answers how about we get the sleeping arrangement settled."

     AJ pulled Kara back into his arms, "I already know what bed I am claiming."

     Trish looked at Kara with a raised eyebrow, "Now why does that not suprise me. So YOUR the guy that has been rootin' her?"

     Howie rolled his eyes, "I see that the Austrialian slang has affected you too Trish. What is it with everyone hooking up here? Why am I all alone?" He said jokingly, while throwing is arms out.

     Kara laughed against AJ's chest while her head rested against it. "Ok the, Kevin, Bri, Leigh and Sierra are going to crash at Trish's place. Trish and I have been crashing here the past 2 months incase Lari needs us. So Nick, Howie and AJ can have my house. Even though we all know that we will be here more then likely. At least you all will have places to place your things."

     "Why can't I stay here with Lari?" Nick asked.

     "Not unless she says otherwise," Trish said sternly, "We can always re-work the house placements." Everyone nodded in agreement. "Ah and here it Miss Sunshine herself" She added as Lari and Leigh returned.

     Glaring at Trish, Lari muttered, "Bite it Trish. So what cha guys all talking about?"

     "Kara here just figured out the sleeping arrangements. Kev and Bri's fam will be in my house. Huwie, Duwie, and Louie here, " pointing at AJ, Nick and Howie, "are in Kara's and she and I will be at our normal posts. Unless you would prefer Nick in one of our places?" Trish informed her.

     "Nick can stay here, in the room Kara's been staying in. Trish and Kara, you both can go back to your places. I am fine." Lari reassured her. "Look, how about I make some dinner?"

     Howie looked concerned, "Are you sure you should be?"

     Lari rolled her eyes, "People I am pregnant, not paralyzed. I just need help with reaching and moving the the pots." She growned as she turned and headed toward the kitchen. "Nick will help me, and the girls will show you around the compound." She ordered off with Nick following close at her heels.

     Kara just rolled her eyes, "Ever since she got pregnant she has become so bossy!"

     Everyone laughed, then Lari shouted, "I HEARD THAT!" Causing everyone to laugh even harder.

     "Come on we'll show you the houses and the compound." Kara laughed as the group headed for the front door.
